Next Issue: The Challenge of... Valuing Stewardship’s Assets It is more blessed to give than to receive. This issue is letting our authors examine the blessings — that is, the assets — of stewardship as they focus on the values of estate planning, how this church is handling seminary student debt, a look at environmentally friendly congregations, and mobilizing God’s people for mission.
“Sculpting Stewardship with Kids,” the theme of this issue’s “Written on the Heart” column, includes reflections from authors of how kids are dealing with stewardship. Other features, both print and online, include book, video, and Web leadership resource reviews, Handiwork (our faith-science column). Book End (a photographic feature from the ELCA Archives), an editorial Comment, letters to the editor, and other articles.
