Description: and ministries to co-create thriving communities throughout Oregon. As an innovation lab, we engage the arts and practices of Sacred Organizing, Design Thinking, and Mutual Accompaniment and partner with both denominations and social movement organizations.
The ELCA Vocational Fellow would be accompanied into leadership in our Sacred Organizing cohorts, which currently include over 75 teams and 500 individuals throughout the state around presenting themes like Land and Housing, Reckoning with Racism, Youth and Mental Health, and Climate Resilience.
In addition, the ELCA Vocational Fellow would join an existing community of part-time Oregon Fellows (15 hrs/week) for mutual accompaniment, vocational discernment, skill building, and 1:1 accompaniment from a seasoned leader that shares common identities.
An average 40-hour work week would include 30 hours of residency-based practice and 10 hours of accompaniment time.
