Peace & Justice Resources
Reality clearly indicates we have recently left the most violent decade and certainly the most violent century in recorded world history. Violence is a global epidemic. America’s children are besieged by a multi-front war of violence, poverty, neglect, and breakdown of family and community nurturing support.
At no other time have schools been more important to children, their families and society than now. We are at the threshold of the International Decade for a Culture of Peace and Non-Violence for the Children of the World. There are many resources and materials from which to get a myriad of ideas on how to move forward. It is important to make this an ongoing effort so that we make a lasting difference.
