The World Hunger Resource Packet is published twice a year and samples new and updated resources designed to help hunger leaders raise money for and awareness about the ELCA World Hunger Appeal.
One copy of each packet is mailed free to all ELCA congregations.

Taking Root: Hunger Causes, Hunger Hopes [top]

Taking Root is a complete curriculum for your congregation. The curriculum includes five sessions each for three different age groups: grades 3–6, grades 7–9 (junior high), and grades 10–12 (senior high). All age groups have parallel content, so the biblical texts and themes, children's literature, and many projects and activities are the same among the age levels.
