Prayer Center
A quiet moment of reflection. A talk with Jesus. A recited text celebrating faith. Though very different, all of these are valid definitions for “prayer.” Prayer is an intentional and meaningful way that every individual -- no matter of age, race, or background -- can deepen his or her personal relationship with God.
If you’ve never prayed, or don’t know how, you’ll find here that it’s easy to begin -- and it can bring great peace and joy to your life. Here you’ll find suggested
devotions and
resources on prayer. Or download the latest Prayer Ventures petitions at

Jump-start Your Prayer Life!
We are thankful to God for inspiring Martin Luther through the scripture, to help us understand that we are a relational people, and prayer is one of the means by which we are able to relate directly with God.
Prayer will assist in strengthening your relationship with God. The prayer Web site’s goals are to support individuals and congregations in the knowledge of prayer. The Web site broadens the awareness of congregants by introducing them to various models of prayer; the most selfless type being prayer of intercession.
In prayer we acknowledge that we are sinners saved by grace. As our prayer life is strengthened we are able to introduce others through prayer to God’s gift, Christ Jesus. This may be accomplished by offering online prayer tools such as: prayer retreats, prayer conferences, the praying church prayer network, stories of renewal and many resources.
A new Prayer Leaders Network is available to teach, train and accompany those wishing to enhance their prayer life. An end result is spiritual renewal of the entire body of Christ.
