Imagine a place where young people of color gather to celebrate their gifts and serve others....
Imagine a place where faith and life intersect and young people engage in real conversation....
Imagine a place where culture is not only celebrated but understood and appreciated....
Imagine a place where you are loved & accepted & welcomed just as you are....
Imagine the ELCA Multicultural Youth Leadership Event 2012!
MYLE is a pre-event to the ELCA Youth Gathering and exists to empower young people of color and those whose primary language is that other than English to claim their identity and cultivate their gifts for the purpose of becoming transformational leaders in the church and in the world.
MYLE is specifically for high school youth and adults from communities of color and/or communities whose primary language is that other than English. Congregations who have 20% or more of young people of color and/or those whose primary language is that other than English are also invited to attend.
MYLE 2012 will have a different format than past events. For details and more information, visit the sidebar topics to the left.
