While participation in the Gathering is limited to congregational groups and volunteers, some individuals are invited to join us in Minneapolis as special guests. These include bishops and synod staff who have direct responsibilities in youth ministry.
Synod Staff
Registration fees support the Gathering’s programmatic, logistic and administrative operations. A $175 deposit per person is required at registration. All payments must be made by April 30, 2027. If you need to make changes to your registration after this deadline, a $25 administrative fee will be applied to your account, and this fee must be paid prior to check-in.

Bishops
All ELCA synod bishops are invited to experience the Gathering alongside the young people in their synod. Registration and logistics will look different from previous cycles, but the Gathering office will communicate all these changes to the Conference of Bishops in spring/summer 2026.
