The Multicultural Youth Leadership Event (MYLE) gathers youth of color or whose primary language is other than English, along with their adult leaders, from across the ELCA for a time of worship, learning and celebration before the Gathering begins. MYLE is the largest gathering of people of color in the ELCA.
MYLE creates space for young people to honor their culture, share their stories and grow as leaders in the church and the world. Through powerful worship, small groups and interactive learning, participants explore what it means to live out their faith and lead with confidence in their communities.
Meals are included during the event, and participants will move directly into the main Gathering following MYLE. There is no registration fee, but a nonrefundable hotel deposit of $50 is required. Your congregation is responsible for housing.
