Renewal of Congregations

Congregational renewal is a Biblical journey by which congregations deepen their understanding of the word of God, expand their practice of the word into the world, and share with others the beauty of the word and its relevance for the Christian walk into the world. The journey will result in a more active engagement in God’s mission and an increase in their capacity for multiplying ministry in the world.

Renewal of congregation work is coordinated by the Evangelical Outreach and Congregational Mission unit’s Renewal Team which provides support and assistance through transformational ministry. This work includes transformational ministry training, the Natural Church Development process, the Coaching process, ministry adjustments, ministry mergers, consolidations, re-locations, and synodical intervention and administration.
