All rostered ministers are invited to contribute to the banner, even if you're not able to attend the gathering in person. Please note that the item will be altered for use in the weaving.

If you'd like to contribute an item of clothing or piece of fabric that is tied to a significant story or moment in your life to the banner, send a piece of the item (8"x10" or less), along with an index card detailing the item's background story, your name and ministry context by May 15 to:

Workshops

Workshops at the 2026 Rostered Ministers Gathering are designed to equip, connect and renew rostered ministers for ministry today. They will intentionally reflect our event theme, “Woven Together,” offering opportunities for learning, reflection and connection across a wide range of ministry contexts. Visit this page for more details about the workshops, coming soon.

All workshop sessions will take place on Tuesday afternoon, July 7, or Wednesday afternoon, July 8. Participants will be able to choose from three different session formats:

One-hour Workshops (60 minutes)

These sessions offer focused learning experiences with clear takeaways. Expect practical training, thoughtful presentations and tools you can bring back into your ministry context.

Intensive Workshops (120 minutes)

Intensives provide space for deeper engagement with a topic. These longer sessions allow for interactive learning, discussion and small-group work, making them ideal for those seeking advanced training or extended reflection.

Affinity Groups (60 minutes)

Affinity groups create space for rostered ministers with shared roles or interests — such as chaplains, deacons or those serving in specialized ministries — to gather for conversation, mutual support and shared wisdom.

Whether you are looking to gain new skills, deepen your theological reflection or connect with colleagues who understand your ministry context, the workshop offerings are designed to help us grow more fully woven together.

Land Acknowledgement

We will gather in the Indiana-Kentucky Synod on the original and ancestral homelands of the Kiikaapoi (Key’-Kaa-poy), the Kaskaskia (ka-ska’-skee-uh), the Myaamia (My-aah’-mi-a), the Tsalagi (tsa’-la-gee), the Shawanwa (Show’-nee) and the S’atsoyaha (S'ah-tso-yah) peoples. We give thanks for their presence here since time immemorial. We also wish to recognize and honor all our Indigenous siblings who have and continue to call this land their home. Let us remember the Indigenous peoples and tribal nations who were the first to love, pray, grow, celebrate, cry, drum, dance and sing upon these lands.

Registration

Registration opens Friday, Jan. 9, at 10 a.m. Central time and closes Friday, June 5, at 11:59 p.m. Central time.
