10-10-80: Empowering Student Leaders

Welcome to Stewardship 10-10-80: Educational Material for Middle School Students

10-10-80 is designed to introduce basic concepts of stewardship to confirmation students, and to encourage them to consider following the 10-10-80 principle of financial stewardship in their own lives. It is intended to be completed within one class period, or portions may be completed by individual students here on-line.

If you have a large confirmation class or several instructors, you may wish to designate one person to coordinate this unit and project. As an additional assignment, you may wish to have your students compose a short entry to post on the forum/blog on the Student Page.

In addition to this basic introduction, you may wish to teach your students other elements of stewardship, such as stewardship of time and talents, or stewardship of their bodies or the environment. “Additional Activities” are provided on this web site to assist in this.
