ELCA Youth Gathering

Jesus Justice Jazz - New Orleans, July 22-26, 2009

See You in 2012!
As we thank God and all God's people for the Youth Gathering just completed in New Orleans, we're also looking ahead to plans for 2012. At this point, those who direct the ELCA Youth Gathering are prayerfully considering all options for the 2012 site. No decisions have been made; once they have been made, we will communicate them promptly. Stay tuned. And, of course, suggestions and comments are welcome at gathering@elca.org.

Day One

Wednesday saw a legion of Lutherans descend upon the Crescent City. There was registration, hotel assignments, and of course, the mass gathering in the Superdome. View the highlights. NEW! Video from the dome added!

Day Two

Thursday was the first day of Servant Events. Ever see so many busses? Take a look!

Day Three

Friday was a great day to hit the Interaction Center. Meet some new friends? Ride the zipline? It's all here! NEW! Video from the dome added!

Day Four

Day Five

Sunday was a day of worship and the end of the gathering. We left New Orleans with a renewed spirit for service. Watch it here. NEW! Video from the dome added!
