Engage in Advocacy
- Washington Office (ELCA) - Find here what issues the ELCA's advocacy office in Washington, DC is focusing on and how you can inform your congressional representatives.
- CMEP - Churches for Middle East Peace is a helpful organization for tracking legislation that deals with the Middle East and for letting you know how you can get involved.
- The Decade for a Culture of Nonviolence originated from the work of twenty Nobel Peace Laureates, including Nelson Mandela, Mother Theresa, Desmond Tutu, and the Dalai Lama. The 1999 ELCA Churchwide Assembly committed this church to work with other churches and organizations to build a Culture of Peace and Nonviolence through 2010.
- Read the ELCA Selective Purchasing Policy Guide and develop a purchasing policy regarding the Middle East.

- MENET - Sign up for the ELCA's Middle East Network to receive updates of what is going on in the region of Israel-Palestine and how the ELCA and ELCJHL are getting involved.

- Good Gifts (ELCA) - Here are some ways you can financially support the programs of the ELCA and ELCJHL dealing with Israel-Palestine.
- Crafts, Olive Oil and Products - Invest in the Palestinian economy by purchasing Palestinian crafts and products. Download a handout of sources for Palestinian handicrafts made by Lutheran school students and other ministries.
