Meet ENGAGE: A New Gathering Experience
ENGAGE is a dynamic new program experience designed to transform the Gathering from a moment into a meaningful movement of faith, discovery, and connection. Through immersive and intentional experiences, young people will have opportunities to deepen their Christian identity, explore new possibilities, and engage with the world around them in powerful ways.
Throughout the Gathering, congregational groups will rotate through six two-hour ENGAGE sessions, each connected to the daily themes of the Gathering. ENGAGE goes far beyond a traditional interactive learning space or exhibit hall. Created in collaboration with Gathering leadership and ministry partners, each session is designed to bring ministry to life, spark conversations about vocation and purpose, and create opportunities for learning, reflection, community, and fun.
Participants will connect with organizations and leaders from across the ELCA and beyond who are making a difference in communities around the world. Every ENGAGE experience is intentionally designed to offer something new, unexpected, and meaningful. Whether stepping into a high-energy environment, a hands-on experience, or a quiet space for reflection, participants will discover opportunities to learn, grow, and be inspired.
ENGAGE invites young people to explore their passions, expand their perspectives, and experience firsthand how God is at work through the church, its ministries, and its people.
