ELCA Publishing House Opened New Seminary Bookstore

NEW SEMINARY BOOKSTORE

Augsburg Fortress Publishers, the publishing house
of the Evangelical
Lutheran Church in America based in Minneapolis,
opened a new bookstore on
the campus of the Lutheran Theological Seminary at
Philadelphia Sept. 8.
"We have a stellar store for the sale of a
cross-section of theological
books," said Lou Bugno, manager. Bugno said, "We
want to pay attention and
make available titles that interest the entire
seminary community," he
said. The store located at 7301 Germantown Ave.,
is the second one
Augsburg Fortress operates in the Philadelphia
area; the publishing house
also operates a store at 4700 Wissahickon Ave. in
the East Falls section of
Philadelphia. "We're excited to have an on-campus
partnership with
Augsburg Fortress, one of the best known and
highly regarded church-related
publishers in the country," said Dr. Robert
Hughes, president of Lutheran
Theological Seminary.
