CHICAGO (ELCA) -- Colleges and universities of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) will participate in "Lutheran College Fair" programs in 11 states this fall. The purpose of the fairs is to connect Lutheran college representatives with prospective students and their families.
The Lutheran College Fair program is coordinated through the Lutheran Educational Conference of North America (LECNA), an association of more than 40 Lutheran colleges and universities in the United States and Canada. Formed in 1910, LECNA is one of the oldest existing Lutheran organizations in the United States and Canada. Its purpose is to encourage, assist and promote cooperation among Lutheran colleges and universities in the United States and Canada.
There are 28 colleges and universities affiliated with the ELCA, which is a member of LECNA.
