CHICAGO (ELCA) --The Rev. Olav Fykse Tveit, general secretary of the
World Council of Churches (WCC) expressed condolences and solidarity with
the people of Haiti, and called for prompt support in the relief efforts,
after the Jan. 12 earthquake.
