CHICAGO (ELCA) -- The Rev. Mark S. Hanson, presiding bishop of the
Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), was among 21 religious
leaders who signed letters to top U.S. government officials, urging that
they raise concerns for the protection of minority groups in Iraq,
including Christians.
