CHICAGO (ELCA) -- Nicknamed "Mother Nature," 81-year-old
Thelma "Tede" D. Johnson has been named the 2010 Volunteer of the Year by
the American Association for Museum Volunteers, Washington, D.C. Johnson,
a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Newport News, Va., is the first
recipient of what will be an annual award.
