CHICAGO (ELCA) -- The board of trustees of Newberry College has
named Dr. V. Scott Koerwer, a senior business school administrator,
entrepreneur and authority on leadership and strategy, to become the
college's 21st president effective July 1, according to a news release
from the school. Newberry College, Newberry, S.C., is one of 27 colleges
and universities of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).
