CHICAGO (ELCA) -- The Rev. Wolfgang D. Herz-Lane was elected June 12
to a six-year term as bishop of the Delaware-Maryland Synod of the
Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) at the synod assembly in
Gettysburg, Pa. Herz-Lane, 56, currently serves as assistant to the
bishop and director for evangelical mission for the synod.
