CHICAGO (ELCA) -- An essay written by the presiding bishop of the
Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) is featured in a new
book, "It Gets Better: Coming Out, Overcoming Bullying, and Creating a
Life Worth Living." The Rev. Mark S. Hanson's essay is a transcript of
his "It Gets Better" video, which was posted on the project's YouTube
channel in October 2010.
