The 2006 Ecumenical Advocacy Days for Global Peace with Justice
will be March 10-13 in Washington, D.C. Under the theme
"Challenging Disparity: The Promise of God - The Power of
Solidarity," participants will learn about issues important to
the religious community and have a chance to make their voices
heard on Capitol Hill.

Several topic-specific workshop tracks are available, including
global security, eco-justice, Africa, domestic issues in the
United States, and more. A dinner is planned for ELCA members
who attend the event. There will also be special programming for
young adults of all denominations.

The final day of the event will be spent on Capitol Hill, where
participants can meet with the staffs of their congressional
representatives. Hospitality will be provided throughout the day
at the Lutheran Church of the Reformation.
