Lutheran Men in Mission will hold its second annual gathering for
young men ages 18-24, Oct. 27-29 at the YMCA of the Ozarks,
Potosi, Mo. "Road Trip: Coming of Age" will offer participants
hiking, bike riding, fishing, golf and other outdoor activities,
as well as opportunities for spiritual growth and fellowship.
The event will also provide leadership training for those who
want to maintain men's ministries in their communities.
This year's event will center on the book Coming of Age:
Exploring the Spirituality and Identity of Younger Men, which
chronicles the faith life of 88 young men around the United
States. Authors the Rev. Paul G. Hill and the Rev. David W.
Anderson, and presenter Nate Anenson will facilitate discussions
on issues affecting the lives of young men. Christian recording
artist Glenn Green will perform throughout the weekend.
