ELCA Minneapolis Area Synod names interim bishop, sets election date

CHICAGO (ELCA) -- The Minneapolis Area Synod Council of the
Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) named the Rev. Dr. Glenn W.
Nycklemoe as interim bishop for the synod and said that an election for a
new bishop will be held in February 2012.
