SPOKANE, Wash. (ELCA) -- The Rev. Mark S. Hanson, presiding bishop
of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), challenged delegates
attending the Women of the ELCA convention here to share the Good News of
Jesus Christ in their communities. Hanson also asked them to contact
their elected representatives in Washington, D.C., about the federal
budget.
