CHICAGO (ELCA) - Members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in
America (ELCA) are praying near Capitol Hill for Congress to pass a just
and compassionate federal budget. More than 50 high school students from
two ELCA congregations in Wisconsin participated in a July 20 prayer
vigil there.
