Presentation: A Conversation with Pamela and Emily, the family of Aubrey Dameron (MMIW)

7 p.m. - 8 p.m. Central time

Pamela Fencer and Emily Thompson, mother and daughter, both citizens of the Cherokee Nation, are the auntie and cousin of Aubrey “Shorty” Dameron. Aubrey, also a citizen of the Cherokee Nation, went missing on March 9, 2019. Since then Pamela and Emily, other family members, and countless friends and allies began searching for Aubrey, though search and advocacy did not come without its challenges. Many challenges, in fact. We are grateful for the vital work that Pamela and Emily have done over the last six years not only to advocate for their beloved Aubrey, but for all of our Indigenous siblings who have gone missing these last decades. Join us for the conversation with Pamela and Emily to learn more about Aubrey, the search, the education, and the grief they have experienced since.

Pre-registration is not required. Just click to attend.
