Find an Opportunity to Serve the Church

The work God calls us to do in the world is never done alone or in isolation. Look here for your opportunity to join our mission. The churchwide organization plays a key role in developing and supporting a culture of interdependence, diversity and common mission across the ELCA and its partners.

Leading and Supporting the Church

Guided by a churchwide assembly, the ELCA Church Council and four elected officers, the ELCA’s churchwide organization, together with the church’s congregations and synods, ensures a foundation of leadership, community engagement, opportunities for dialogue, creative partnerships and support for members and ministries.
