Deacon Adrainne Gray is a consecrated Lutheran Diaconal Association (LDA) deaconess and an ordained ELCA deacon. Her ministry is rooted in a deep commitment to social justice, racial reconciliation and community empowerment. She brings a diverse background of experience, from communications to global advocacy to her recent call as executive director of the LDA.

Her career includes extensive communications work with the Lutheran World Federation and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jordan and the Holy Land. In these roles, she helped amplify the voices of marginalized communities and advocated for peace, justice and global unity across the Lutheran church diaspora.

Adrainne lives in Atlanta with heraward-winning photojournalist spouse. They have two adult children and one grandchild. Adrainne is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. She likes gardening, making home-brewed kombucha, dancing and long walks.
