ELCA World Hunger Advent resources available
ELCA World Hunger’s Advent calendar, activities and study are designed to give you tools to make your home a warmer place. The world feels uncertain right now. Share God’s wide welcome with your neighbors.

A Pastoral Message for These Troubled Days
Presiding Bishop Yehiel Curry has issued a pastoral message expressing gratitude for the ELCA ministries that serve our neighbors during troubled times. “No matter what happens next, we must continue to care for all neighbors, especially those who are marginalized," he reminds us.

Give a gift. Change a life.
Today is #GivingTuesday, a day to shift our focus to sharing abundantly with others through the causes and ministries we hold dear. In celebration of this global generosity movement, a group of donors has offered to match all ELCA Good Gifts — dollar for dollar — until we reach $125,400! Together we can share God’s love with others to strengthen our communities and transform the world.

Sumud Advent Series
What does Advent mean in the land where Jesus was born? How does our relationship to land, to home, and to rootedness connect us to the story of Advent and the good news that a Savior is born? ELCA Sumud: for Justice in Palestine and Israel’s 2025 Advent series addresses all these questions and more in four devotional resources.
