You are invited to a screening of Native Nations: Standing Together for Civil Rights, aone-hour documentary exploring the role of the Lutheran church in the American Indian civil rights movement of the 1970s and 1980s. In the documentary you will learn how the American Indian Movement persuaded Lutherans to respond, how they stood in solidarity with the movement and Indigenous people in the United States, and about the creation and work of the National Indian Lutheran Board.
