Deacon Rana has served as the ELCJHL's Diaconal Ministry Director for about 5 years. Through this ministry, families in the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and Amman can receive financial, social, spiritual, and mental services if they are in need. This ministry has become crucial to the community since the pandemic and now during the increasing closures in the West Bank and ongoing genocide in Gaza. Deacon Rana is passionate about helping all in need, and living out the church's call to respond to oppression and injustice with both prayer and action.
