Rev. Dr. Andrea L. Walker has been active in the ELCA for decades. She earned her Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from the Lutheran Schoolof Theology at Chicago. Writing her DMin thesis in 2007, titled “A Place at the Table: An African American Lutheran Preaching From Margins to Mainstream,” helped her to discover this framework for L.O.V.E. This framework guided her global work in Africa and is practiced in every aspect of her life.
