The Rev. Sharei Green (she/her) is a Chicago native with a business management degree from Luther College, Decorah, Iowa, and a Master of Divinity from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago.
Sharei is a Womanist theologian living at the intersection of fat, Black, queer and neurodivergent and is devoted to creating spaces of healing, rest and joy for women/femmes and all their many intersections. She is the co-author of God’s Holy Darkness and currently serves as pastor of United in Faith Lutheran Church in Chicago.
When she’s off the clock, you can find her cooking, reading or happily nerding out over Dungeons & Dragons actual-play shows.
