We honor the faith and heritage of Christians with Arab and Middle Eastern roots—from Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Armenia and beyond. Descendants of the earliest followers of Christ, this community brings ancient faith and cultural richness to the ELCA.
Arab and Middle Eastern Ministries strengthens spiritual and cultural identity while fostering mutual understanding within the wider church. Through worship, fellowship and dialogue, we celebrate unity in Christ and the diversity of our stories and languages.
We support leadership development, interfaith and ecumenical partnerships and advocacy for peace and justice. Through the Association of Lutherans of Arab and Middle Eastern Heritage, we invite all to build bridges across lands, cultures and generations.
