MINNEAPOLIS—Portico Benefit Services, the benefits ministry of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), has announced that the Rev. Yehiel Curry, presiding bishop of the ELCA, has been appointed as an advisory member of Portico's board of trustees.
As an advisory member, Curry will provide guidance on strategic priorities, helping to align Portico's work with the evolving needs of the ELCA and its commitment to "a connected church"—a central theme of his leadership vision.
