Benhi !Khabeb was born and raised in Namibia, specializing in indigenous music past and present, through natural African roots composition. He plays many different indigenous instruments like the djembe, talking drum, kess-kess, calabash, and mbira. Benhi has participated as a musician in countless ELCA events over the years. As a singer and keeper of the oral traditions and history of the Khoisan people of the Namib Desert, he is regarded as a living instrument, resonating the voice of the ancestors.
