As ELCA faith communities seek to deepen and expand the holy work of welcome, inclusion and celebration of LGBTQIA+ people in the church and society, some may find themselves asking, “What does LGBTQIA+ mean, anyway?” This intensive workshop is for rostered leaders who want to know more about the “basics” as they support their faith communities in ongoing education about God’s diversity of creation — especially now, as church and society confront the homophobia, transphobia, white supremacy and patriarchy embraced by our own government.
